This is a great book for all those interested in the wide range of SS related regalia. Whilst by no means an absolute standard on the subject, I personally found the book very enjoyable and wide-ranging, covering all the better known examples and some of the not so well known types of SS regalia. The photographs are excellent, as are the descriptions and accompanying text. The brief histories of some of the regalia is clear and easy to understand. I own a copy of this book myself, and have found in Robin Lumsden's book a valuable tool in understanding the myriad of regalia that was a large part of the SS. It would also double as a valuable reference source for collectors.
